Do you have any static ip’s set up on any of your devices? From my experience that error is usually because there’s a static ip set up on one of your devices and a dynamic Ip also on your network is trying to use the same up address that’s allocated for the static address.

I wish I knew what you were talking about. I'm clueless as to static ips and how to ID them.

I understand that, the brute force method for this is USUALLY just calling your internet provider and asking them to reset the modem from their end, which again, is separate from power cycling the modem on your end. Best of luck!

Just got off the phone with them. They reset the modem, suggested I "forget" the iPad WIFI connection, then reconnect. Did all that. Problem remains. Next likely step is awaiting new router and see if that solves anything And thanks for your help!

I hope it works itself out with the new router. Keep us updated!

It's just terribly frustrating. Everything's working fine and then zap.

Unsure what’s your provider, I have spectrum and I had endless troubles when they gave a combined modem/WiFi router. I complained and asked for them separate which they do but not as default. Other ISP’s may have similar so I’d rec getting them separate if they aren’t already.

Spectrum here as well. All I have from them is the modem. I've been using a separate stand-alone router, Netgear. I remember getting into its settings but no longer remember how.

Internet status: good. Wireless: 3 connections (correct). No indication of issues.

Option to reboot the router. Unsure if that's wise.

Reboot is fine? Also if there’s a firmware update would recommend updating. You’ll may need to go through again and set up your wifi name and password unsure how comfy you are w that.
