Then I'm suddenly getting this, which may or may not be relevant: "Another device on the network is using your computer's IP address."
Just got off the phone with them. They reset the modem, suggested I "forget" the iPad WIFI connection, then reconnect. Did all that. Problem remains. Next likely step is awaiting new router and see if that solves anything And thanks for your help!
