The Museum of B'casting in LA closed recently. Saw a rare Steve Allen kine there, rec'd one night at 1115pm showing the filler time, then picked up by only some of the affiliates. V loose w Steve at piano jivving with the band, a delight. Are there any other tapes of 1115pm segs?
I have an 11:15 PM 15-minute clip that includes Steve and Edie. Earlier, Steve congrats the NY Giants baseball team that dates it early October ‘54. Followed by what’s always been ID’d as the debut from 9-27-54. This establishes that it’s not.
