Remember Dave calling CBS in a bit in the mid 80s complaining over their use of something they were going to call "CBS Late Night"?
Not near computer, will verify later. My recollection is he was railing on the “CBS Late Movie,” which weren’t movies at all but instead tv shows.

Ok; it began in a Who Asked For It from May ‘82. Asked what was on the CBS Late Movie, Dave looked it up: “Alice,” then “McCloud.” Picked up in March ‘85, running rant on tv shows tagged as CBS Late Movie. Then, Aug. ‘85, title became CBS Late Night...

Thanks for reminding me, as this fell through the cracks. Just checked: August 1985, it was changed from "CBS Late Movie" to "CBS Late Night," prompting Dave to call a CBS representative in California to no avail. More references the name 6 months later.
