How nuts is it that writers are talk show guests? They’re kinda the original Franken and Davis . Half way through but had to chime in.

I realize they were also performers. The striking thing is the pace and quiet. The subtlety. No way that happens now. Everything has to be a riot or it isn’t funny.

It’s no Father Biff, that’s for sure.

Did Biff ever do a sit down as himself with Dave? I kinda think so?

Only when setting up a remote during the LS years.

I shot a remote for Dennis Miller’s CNBC show at the RNC at Madison Square Garden with Tim Meadows as my correspondent in 2004. Biff was doing a bit in the booth next to us for Dave and he saw me and remembered me. Warmed my heart!
