@siracusa. It did bug me that in one wide shot you could see that Dave was no longer at his desk. I hope he was at least watching Claudia offstage.
He must have been. First, Claudia appeared to be looking at him just as the picture fades at the very end. Second, Dave always thanked the audience after every show.
