i was wondering, is there a clip of letterman showing his #3 billboard?
I’m not sure there is. Maybe as a commercial break bumper. I thought it might have been in the Gaines montage, but evidently not. I’ll keep looking.

Did a little digging. Turns out that while not in the Gaines montage, it did show up in the final LS: the final commercial break, actually. The billboard had been put up in mid-July 1997. May or may not scan the shows from that period.pic.twitter.com/cvnM7nt3G3
