@thedonz5 am I making this up or was there a run with Bruno Kirby and Robert Pastorelli playing a "Cop on the Edge." And that Pastorelli and Kirby meet up at one point and it ends with Kirby saying "let's go get some pie?" RIP to both.

THANK YOU!!! I had never seen the part where they're actually eating pie!! So glorious! And I'm so glad I remembered exactly that Rupert used the word "weirdass." Twenty-five years: never forgotten it ;)
The aired version has a very short, silent clip of the two of them eating pie in Rupert’s during the quick show close. I selected a longer, unaired version with audio.

This would have been an awesome sketch with Chris E on NBC as well. I almost wish there were more of them: Chris would made its one note premise part of the joke, leading to angry confrontation. Either way, I'm glad we have these two. Kirby's convo with Dave about Beatlemania LOL
