Of all the things that made the Letterman shows great, without a doubt my favorites were when behind the scenes people on the show were used in various comedy bits. Just so wonderful! RIP Kenny.
After Colbert went on-air, I asked a stagehand (a CBS employe) the difference with DL. “With Dave we were working _with_ Worldwide Pants. With Stephen, we’re working _for_ CBS.”
