Yeah I get it! Legally. But it's still a shame, I wish there were motivation to make it actually get resolved

I had hoped that streaming video would unlock all sorts of niches... but apparently not. (I would say the same about Carson, but at least some Carson has escaped to digital TV.)

Big difference is that Carson ended up owning his shows, which allowed for greater preservation and accessibility.
