      @thedonz5 You've probably been asked this, but would u ever want to do #MyNextGuest w Letterman if we could petition to make it happen? It would be real-life Möbius Strip to watch that. Him and u asking and telling each other why we're so fascinated and entertained by it all.

      It’d be a fool’s errand: (1) DL would have no interest whatsoever; (2) I’m not a known person outside of a tiny subset; and (3) I’d be god-awful. The perfect trifecta to a colossal disaster.

      DL brings out best (or surreal) in all, even the god-awful. He's got to consider his legacy in some way. You're ideally placed to both convey what his shows have meant to us, and to get the tales like the James Lipton of Late Night. Would love to know DL's Top Ten experiences.

      I appreciate that, but I’m wholly unqualified. There’s a trust factor here, and that comes about only after a years-long acquaintance. That hasn’t happened and will most likely never happen, and I think it’d be naive to wish it otherwise.
