That was produced by Dave's ex-prod Barry Sand, wasn't it? I seem to remember a pretty unflattering Sand profile in SPY that goes into some detail into the nightmare behind the scenes (and Doocy wasn't the worst of it, either).
Sand produced "The Wilton North Report" shortly after being canned from LN in 1987. IMDB lists other names as producers for "House Party": Betsy Alexander, Bob Brienza (EPs) and Patricia Marx (Segment Producer).

Right. He did do some Doocy show as well; I recall reading the article and thinking what an unfortunate surname that is. Turns out it suits him. Few more doocy than he.
