Which suggests to me that we’re a niche group, fans of a bygone era that just doesn’t have the sort of widespread appeal I thought it still might. Sure, there are tiny corners out there discovering a past never experienced, and that’s wonderful,
But for the rest of the human race, it just doesn’t have that appeal, either anymore or ever. Just taking stock of some realities is all.

Every comedian who was huge in the first two thirds of my life has been forgotten by the masses now. But some hip people find their way back to them as I did with comics before my time. The same is or will be true with DL.
