YouTube’s been hinky today. After reaching 88.5 million views early this afternoon, it suddenly dropped around 100,000 (no blocks or strikes) and has been stuck there for the last 6 hours.

This is a normal part on how YouTube verifies if the views are real & accurate – the watch time may slow down, freeze, or adjust during this process. Here are more details on how this works: https://yt.be/help/Jgao If your referring to another issue, let us know.

Thank you for the explanation. Appreciated. I trust all computer-driven views have been eliminated and that the total view count will be updated soon.

The freeze is over, and all 100,000 views returned, plus 10s of thousands more. Maybe there were no bot-driven spikes in the first place.
