I was afraid this day would come — a request for a compilation of all of Moriah Carey’s LS appearances. I haven’t yet figured out a diplomatic way of explaining that that’s not in my charter.

Well, you certainly don't have to honor all requests. She was not an important Letterman guest.
She is to the person requesting it. Something about celebrating her 30 years in the biz.
