The point, though, is to hide the labor. Only a tiny fraction might be interested in the sausage-making. And, man, could I bore them about that.
I’ll share a sausag-making moment, because I got a big kick out of it: The FF appeared on the show for a full week in October ‘14. As it ended, they participated in a staff & crew photo. The show’s web site posted a very short ”making-of” video (1)

that lasted maybe 2 seconds. I d/l’d it, then took screen captures of each image. Then collated them into a new video, which is what I included in this compilation. Who knew that it would (roughly) sync up with the song? (2)

Something downloaded, manipulated, and hung onto for 8 1/2 years was finally put to use, and to such an unexpected magical result. That’s when it pays off for me. Truly a labor of love. (3/)
