The Thrill Cam makes me really happy. Such a simple, silly "why not?" they often did that made '80s Late Night so good. Speaking of which, do you know the show where the Thrill Cam was too low and an "audience member" gets *spoiler*?

It doesn’t ring a bell, but it should be findable. Folks have wanted a compilation, but I’m not sure how interesting it would be without careful planning and editing. We’ll see.

Thanks! I thought it was important to add the before- and after-elements to convey the trainwreck Dave felt the show was going through. Also, the monkey act had been bumped from the week of shows in Las Vegas the month before.

This is a great example of why believe 1987 was the golden year of this show because of stuff like all of these individual elements going on in just the right combinations, along with a peak sardonic attitude before things got a little more silly and broad later.
