@terance2440 -- been watching a shitload of old "Late Night with David Letterman" clips on YouTube. Remember Chris Elliott as "The Fugitive Guy"? Someone has compiled every appearance of that bit into a 2-hour collection! I'm reliving my childhood here!

Yes.
@thedonz5 has digitized all Letterman shows. Chris Elliott is a genius. "The Guy Under the Seats" and his Brando impressions are highlights for me.1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

Ah, a fellow Chris Elliott fanatic. Remember his short-lived, 91-92 sitcom "Get a Life"? That was some bizarre man-child shit. I wish I still had my tapes... sigh...

Shame "Get a Life" isn't rerun anywhere. Either you loved or hated it. I loved every minute of that show. Brian Doyle Murray was perfect in his role.

I believe Doyle-Murray was only in the 2nd season, after Chris leaves his parent's house to move in with him. Do I remember that right? 1st season, childhood bedroom; 2nd season, Doyle-Murray's garage? I'm really stretchin my pothead memory here...

He was in the 2nd episode of Season 1 as “Ted Bains.” In Season 2 he was “Gus Borden” throughout.

Ah so. I never woulda remembered the 1st season appearance, but now it's ringing a bell. Anyway, I'm sure with a little effort we could track down most, if not all of the episodes online...
