I pretty sure I caught this first run, or it's next re-run broadcast. I remember it well.

Had to have been first-run. It never aired again anywhere.

I know there were over 1800 Late Night shows. But with weekly repeats, A & E, E, Trio, and NBC showing months of repeats before Conan premiered, I can't imagine there are many like this that only aired once.

Just did the stats. Of the total 1,814 LNs (1809 + film festival 1 + 4 new reairs [Eng. & Sp. Overdubs; Rerun-Plus; Commentary]), 808 never reaired on NBC, A&E, E!, or Trio. That's 44.54%.

Wow. It makes it even more incredible you were able to get them all.

I would imagine the Late Show percentage would easily be double. There were way more new shows every year and never a rerun deal. Plus guest hosts and backstage shows during the heart bypass and shingles. You saw it the first time or likely not at all.
