A reference point: I've put up 15 separate LN & LS Chris Elliott collections. Totaling over 10 1/2 hours. More than any other staffer. A YT comment to one of them: "Dave never gave him his due...shame on dave."
I doubt the commenter was that aware. Chris’s act worked best within Dave’s orbit in a particular moment in time but not as well outside of either.

I think I’m pretty accurate in my assessment. Lately there have been a lot of views of the Chris collections. More and more folks ask, “Whatever became of him?” Meaning that it was always that moment in time.
