I doubt the commenter was that aware. Chris’s act worked best within Dave’s orbit in a particular moment in time but not as well outside of either.

That wasn’t the reason I shared this. Rather the commenter too quick to criticize without knowing the breadth of Chris’s output on the show. A certain catch phrase comes to mind.

I also think that (while Chris wasnt a massive star) he had a good career. He has been in films like something about mary, 2 tv series with him as lead and a great role in Schitts Creek, and among other things He wrote some very funny books. A lot better than many comedians.
