It’s the same duration clip that aired on The Tonight Show when Dave was a guest on July 17, 1984. So it looks like the Carson group is basing their claim on its airing on their show. Even though I’ve not uploaded that particular appearance. Odd.
I emailed the Carson folks asking for some clarification. Will let you know if they respond.
