You continue to amaze. This stuff is priceless. Seriously, no pun intended. The Carson bit from 42+ years ago (!!!) is a gift. Literally. And Charles Nelson Reilly sweetly trying to relax Ms. Garr - - until the end, that is: “Everything you say will be used against you....”
I have other early TG TS appearances, including 2 with DL as guest-host, but they’d meet the same fate as the 9-part Johnny/Dave compilation. So unable to share.

This 5-part collection is more than we deserve. Although it‘d be interesting to see if / how much less nervous Ms. Garr was with Dave on TS than she was with Johnny. Your thoughts? “The chair is not really comfortable, is it?” “No, not really, is your living room like this?”

For being so painfully tense, self-conscious, distracted, and nervous on that first appearance, she was still quick-witted and really funny. Great stuff. The lights going out mid-interview, Johnny’s related ad libs, and the flashlight were all fantastic. 42+ years ago. Wow.
