I forgot to mention that WBZ is in Boston. I was recording the station from where I was growing up, in Baltimore.

WKBW, after Jefferson Kaye had joined the station in around March 1966, after he left WBZ. Years later, in 2005, I chatted with him by phone regarding his station airing a “Get Back” bootleg in September 1969. He was Program Director at the time.

I remember him championing “Come Up the Years” by Jefferson Airplane. And his signature sign-off was the backing track of Tom Rush’s “On the Road Again.” I put together a composite full take based on all of his sign-offs.
