Don Giller

Whenever I'm bored enough, I'll return to my "Bumpers" project, cataloguing every bumper used on the show. Today I made it up to October 1, 1982 (121 shows). There were hundreds of them, and I've got some great help from Brian McAloon, (1)

who was responsible for selecting them in the control room (he sat next to Pete Fatovich and, starting in 1995, directed Snyder, then Kilborn, and then Ferguson). (2)

Most were used multiple times, some only once for special occasions ("DAVE," the Bar-Mitzvah show, and the Film Festivals, for example). Some had multiple purposes, depending on the show context. (3)

After the catalogue is finished, I'll try to figure out some way to put together a compilation that'll hopefully be not-boring. (4x)
