You know what's funny, Dave implies that Mr Rogers is the last guest, which means one, perhaps two guests preceded him. They were at the time likely perceived as bigger stars than Mr Rogers. I'd bet the farm that in 2019, Mr Rogers is the most recognized of the three.

Explained in the description underneath the video. The two preceding guests were Julie Andrews, whose segments lasted longer than scheduled, and Andy Kaufman.

Interesting. I wonder who would win the "who is this?" poll if you were to hold up each of their pictures today to 1000 people. I still say Mr Rogers, but closer than I thought.
