I've come to believe that the 50M-views milestone is a curse. First time reached came the Carson takedowns. Second time came the UMG takedowns. Now back down to 47.6M. Beware mid-December.

Over the moon that your channel's been restored, Don. I know I've told you this a bunch before, but I can't thank you enough for what you do. Really appreciate you carrying on the David Letterman tradition of standing up to beady-eyed corporate weasels.

My YT channel of 3+ years was deep-sixed last Dec., on account of a string of simultaneous, illegitimate takedown notices. I couldn't get anybody to hear the case. Good on Carson Prod. for lending you a hand. Heartening to know there are still some human beings in this world.

I was hit with 12 simultaneous takedowns in July 2018. All were fraudulent. Others found a pattern. I stated my case in both YT and twitter. YT determined that they were indeed fraudulent and removed them all.

Happy to hear that. I sent YT Support an email and got back a one-sentence response, stating they were "unable to process [my] appeal." At that point, I figured it was done & dusted, so I packed it in. Seeing your success makes me think I should have fought it harder.

What happened to you, in a word, sucks. It wasn't right.

I appreciate that, Don. I really do. I can assure you, though, that the absence of my channel is no great loss. I brought it up only to say that I admire you for refusing to be cowed by these faceless conglomerates. They push around the little guy because they can.
