Hopefully it’s just the channel rebooting, but I emailed @youtube copyright to ask them to fix this. So we’ll not out of the woods yet, but a major step forward.

Ok — last night, while soliciting help for the UMG stuff, I emailed the head of Carson Entertainment (you all know the story). This morning he agreed to rescind all of his takedowns. The channel is up. But all videos are down. (1/2)

Excellent! I was hoping that an appeal to the Carson folks would be Plan B, as Mr. Sotzing comes across as a reasonable guy... certainly more reasonable than a UMG bot.

Absolutely. Stern but fair. He didn’t have to do this, but he did. I agreed to delete all his content as soon as the videos are again accessible. So far, they’re not yet.
