Also, I think this is a crop of what I sent the show, which showed Dave standing in a “rabbit patch,” with rabbit ears sticking up out of the ground. He was a writer on the show, too; doubt this was his gag.

I’m friends with SVB, so hung around the sets, all in the DC area. Went to a dinner with everyone after a show they filmed at a club. Dave came in late with, I think, Merrill (tall/dark hair), and sat separately. Altman threw a fit cuz he didn’t have a seat.
