Man, this is exasperating. After initial twitter interaction 2 days ago, @youtube is no longer responding to my plea to fix the inability to change from Hidden to Public channel.

Just a thought--have you tried addressing your concerns on Reddit? (I presume you've made a healthy search on the googles and came up short) Redditers might be able to help (or not)
I haven't. The more advice given, the more nuts this'll get. This is @youtube's issue that they're not fixing yet.
