I would pay $20 a month for a streaming service where you could watch all the Letterman Late Nights and Late Shows!

I've no idea how to set something like that up, and I sense real legal jeopardy from the bird network and WPI if I did. And neither have shown any interest in doing it themselves; the costs would be prohibitive (music royalties, for starters).

Worldwide won’t help you?

They haven't yet, nor have I asked. It's their call.

Thanks for all your work! It isn't officially recognized but the fans know.
-
Appreciated (really), but all the fans in the world can't sanction anything.

The PR guy in me says it wouldn’t be too difficult to get some publicity about your selfless work that is being shutdown by “the man.” What I don’t know is whether that would help or hurt the effort to keep this history in the public realm.

It's not his material. It's a thing where it's awesome that he's got all this and he's sharing it for us to enjoy it, but he doesn't have any real defense if the copyright owners say, "That's ours, you can't post it."
