I sometimes forget how odd folks can be. After spending 20 hours on the SB set, I get a DM request for an incredibly trivial LS moment. I explain 20 hours, low priority, etc. In return: "What a disappointing reply," and then blocks me.

You're in the right here Don. Buuuut I will say your answer to the guy might be a little too straight forward for a person who.might not live in the big city. I DON'T, but one might see it as dismissive.

But what pissed me off was the block; he didn't allow any gradual resolution to evolve. I was in the middle of responding and then I found I couldn't.

I hear ya. He abruptly cut it off. People I think tend not to understand that your brilliant Letterman archiving is a labor of love, mostly, and you do other stuff that actually does pay. Which has to take priority. And we know something of your recent health issue, so yeah.

I don't know how this'll come across, but I get a kick preparing these sorts of compilations, partly because I know that I'm the only person who has the resources to do it -- the databases, the shows, and the amateur know-how in presenting them....
