The two funniest things I remember watching from LN: A May '91 episode where a guy held up a live cat and made it dance to "Memory" and a May '99 CBS mail segment where they cooked Jar-Jar Binks on the barbecue. Neither availlable online. God, I hope to see these again one day

The latter was easily found — May 28, 1999. The former not so much. Stupid Pet Trick?

May 28 - my birthday too! It very well could have been a Stupid Pet Trick. It was 1991 after all. Was that also the summer where Kathleen Ankers played the foul-mouthed audience member before she was Peggy the foul-mouthed chambermaid?

Peggy's 1st official foul-mouth: 10-1-92. Her audience bit: 11-13-92. Problem with 5-28-91: repeat from 6-26-90. 6-26-90: call to mom, K. Douglas, Justin Wilson (Cajun chef), P. Swayze, Eastern airlines ad spoof, Visine on camera. No SPT, no cat dance.
