Oh Don, do you reckon that Jay Leno poaching Edd Hall from Letterman was Jay sort of thumbing his nose at Dave, a la Leno poaching Stutterin' John from Howard Stern? Edd was a visuals coordinator for Dave. Kind of an odd career trajectory, I'd say.

Edd left LN in 1990 for L.A., two years before Jay's Tonight Show. After Edd left the TS, he returned to do some voice-overs on Dave's Late Show.
