Great post. I love learning about people's Ohio connections, especially when they pertain to music. About the teaser you closed with... Have you published anything about your Beatles finds elsewhere? Finding the "Because" and "When I'm 64" tracks you posted made my night!
I wrote a multi-part post in the Beatlegs forum back in 2005. Will try to dig it out and see if it holds up. I remember not finishing it then, and I probably lost some details along the way.

I just emerged from the Beatles rabbit hole—you know the kind—but I'd willingly fall back in for that. While I have you, do you happen to have any transfers of the BBC's My Kind Of Folk show circa '68? I'm looking for a nice copy of Ep 37 specifically in this long-shot request.
