Today has reinforced this frustration that's been building since the new year: After decades pursuing this, I'm tired of being "rogue"; I lack any recourse due to my continuing freelance status. Not a clue how to proceed towards a semblance of legitimacy.

No; WPI owns Late Show, the 1980 morning show, and the 2nd LN Film Festival; NBCU owns every other Late Night.

Right - may be because NBC had shown them shortly after it LN closed on their cable net.

Their "dotcomedy" launched in November 2006 and folded a year later. I don't know what shows they selected.
