For those who are suggesting I use Cloud services: I just don't trust them. I'll stick with off-site options.

The NAS itself would be local (w/ several cloned drives in one bay in case of individual drive failure), but you could run it concurrently w/ a service like BackBlaze. I don't doubt that. I'll still keep it away from anything beyond the drives here.

Fair enough! I'd still recommend a local bay with those redundancies and perhaps even a safety deposit box with a clone? My greatest fear w/ my digital collections is fire or natural disaster. Having a copy in a trustworthy place away from my apt. allows me to sleep at night.
