20 hours later, and blocked. All due to around 20 seconds of "King of the Road." Will have to recut, then another processing time of 5 hours before another upload begins. Argh.

I challenged the block, because other YT channels have uploaded the song with no blocks. Decision by Feb. 3. If no response, the block is removed. Hopefully resolved sooner.

Don, have you considered opening up a "backup" channel, on another video hosting platform like Vimeo or DailyMotion? Could function as a repository for the videos that are blocked by YouTube. (1/2)

I have a middling YouTube channel of my own, plus a Vimeo "backup" page. I sometimes link to Vimeo in YT descriptions. Click-through rate isn't high, honestly, but it's something. (2/2)
