On second thought, maybe not. The band played the song when Steve Khan subbed for Hiram on March 8, 1982. Seems unlikely it'd be played w/o Hiram (analogous to "The Gimp" - played only when Hiram was there). As always, just speculation.
Status: I asked Steve Khan. He listened, couldn't ID the song. Searched through his notes, nothing. Put me in touch with Hiram's girlfriend at the time, awaiting her reply. Too long a shot, I think; if anyone would know, it'd be @paulshaffer or @Willbassboy.
