She did, twice as guest (2002 and 2003), and once as cameo (Cape Thing, 2003). Then 7 more appearances after Johnny's death (1/05), 2010-14.

In retrospect, I've wondered about the impact of Rivers leaving the TS then giving rise to Leno, if he would have even been considered to guest-host in the first place.

Thanks for that. I thought I'd seen her on the CBS after the Fox thing which contradicts her narrative that she was banished for 20 years on late night.
