    Tom seems incapable of understanding broad context. If Obama ordered the hit you could give benefit of the doubt that yhe decision was made with consideration of the consequences and in good faith. Trump doesnt consider anything except how it effects Trump in the next 20 minutes

    I am second to no one in despising Trump and his goons. But the people trying to find a legal reason (rather than the much stronger prudential case) not to hit Soleimani would be cheering in the streets if Obama did it - and vice versa. So partisan, so binary.

    18 year old kids in Afghanistan and Iraq probably dont have the most favorable view of the US and if you lived there you might find it justifiable. There entire lives the US has been bombing and drone striking their villages.

    Let's deal with this stupid analogy right away, since it's become a thing. If GEN Milley were running around various countries near Iran helping plan terror attacks on Iranians and organizing guerrilla actions against Iranian military forces, maybe this could hold. It doesn't. /1

    Maybe its one of those pick-up artist like tricks. Steyer was just negging the Republican electorate by spending millions on impeachment ads, now he has them right where he wants them

    One reason I’m on the Steyer bus is that people often ask me “who is actually considering voting for Steyer?” One answer from today’s first town hall: An Iowan who told me she voted for Trump in 2016 and thinks other Democrats are too obsessed with impeaching him. Yeah, I know.
