I saw a friend do this and I want to follow up with my own list. Name the top 5 people who had the biggest impact on you in smash/your smash career. I want to explain briefly why each player is on it so expect a longer tweet.
5) Skyson - Not a lot of people know you nowadays but you were my first major roadblock. Learning the game still while also learning my character's toughest matchup really helped develop a good foundation and helped me learn how to keep a strong mental game. @SlayTheSkyson
4) Z-Axis - One of my best friends. There was never a moment where I didn't love playing vs you. You taught me how to be creative and mix-up my game in ways I didn't think were possible. Even though I know playing is tough on you, I'm always hoping you'll come back.

3) Flip - Probably the most single handedly annoying person to play, and with that, probably the person I played the most. You kept things simple. You rarely went for flashy or stylish strings. You taught me how to read people. Hope you're doing well bud.
2) 4% - My biggest inspiration. Fuck the top players. Fuck the guys after them. The local legend from back in the day was who motivated me the most to play the game the best I can so I could have a shot of sitting next to him in finals. I miss seeing you a ton.

1) Vanz - Not only were you one of my best friends but you were the one who pushed me past my limits. You taught me speed, execution, patience, positioning, and so much more about the game. Everyday I played you I saw growth, and I can't thank you enough. Miss you, Jaden.
