    Couldn't agree more. A world will change how we use our smartphones. More so than the other way around.

    I ageee - it’s never a straight replace but definitely will change things. Don’t think we’ll be using smartphones the same way in a world. Just like we are not using same desktop os from ten years ago. Voice is next tech disruption - nothing is as fast or natural.

    I agree Dave. What’s also very interesting to me is how many people think we’re saying “Voice Only” when we say We are at the tip of the iceberg at best of all that’s coming to the world of voice.

    There’s a whole country of people east of San Francisco but west of New York.

    Talking to a CEO friend yesterday, mentioned many smallish firms (<100) have trouble hiring employees in SF, candidate. Biggest issue is can't pay G/FB salaries, and candidates discount equity. Many smaller-than-you-think firms considering offices in Seattle/Portland.

    We’re starting to learn how to blend a voice interface with visual feedback now with devices like the spot and show, I think this will make its way into our phones as a really convenient combo

    Agree, thank you, Dave. I think the use case to lead on mobile: in-car experience until connected cars ubiquitous w/ built in voice. Trust develops w/ voice assistant + ease of ux for user = shift behavior from tapping to simple speaking, handsfree🗣👍

    Thinking a lot lately about how is going to be lot more important to . I'm seeing people "try out voice" again on their phones. Could be we're all getting used to talking to our tech now. I think smartphone may stay relevant as a go-to lot longer than thought.

    I'm with you here. I rock Airpods for my daily driver, Bose Wireless Q35 on plane so I don't hear everyone around me lol. Would love device in my ear I can double tap to activate any smart assistant I want.

    With wireless earbuds that you simply tap voice is now a go-to for me. I just wish I could make Alexa default instead of Siri.

    Voice won’t replace smart phone, like smart phone didn’t replace desktop. It’ll simply fill in the gaps when you can’t / don’t need to use your hands e.g. Driving, cooking, ‘managing’ a toddler...

    Yes. It’s a game changer in a great many ways. And , being , is one of the most important. It removes the barriers (soon more so) between different apps and services in a way that makes sense.

    I believe voice will be everywhere. Alexa doing an ok job of that today in my opinion. But, I think outside the home and automobile, phones in pockets may very well be the primary device. Its got me thinking about conversational mobile experiences vs touch interfaces.

    Agreed - I feel humans really want omnipresent voice assistants - true "companions". While smart speakers and smart tvs (I expect the Cube to be a massive hit in the end of year sales) push adoption, in the long run we still want the mobility the smart phones brings
