I went to the Capitol today to participate in a peaceful protest. The American people deserve to have confidence in our elections. But in no circumstance should passion ever become an excuse for violence.

Right, because those protesters weren't allowed to run through the Capitol freely after breaking in, protested peacefully, and were tear gassed and shot with rubber bullets for an upside down Bible photo op. Interesting difference of treatment. Wonder why...
