Some people have replied, “she was being appointed to an appellate court & ‘had’ to say this.” Maybe, but she said it & if that’s not her position as a prospective member of SCOTUS *the burden of proof is on her*. No president should take a guess on a SCOTUS appointment.

I'm not a supporter of hers, but this is frankly silly and means little. There will never be a time in which the Court will say "Roe v Wade is overturned." If a successful suit to ban abortion comes up, they'll just state why R v W doesn't apply.
