Sounds like you’re gaining muscle not that I know anything about working out lol.

But it’s the fact that I’ve just been doing cardio/squats. I haven’t been doing any weight training or any other exercises that could make me “bulk” up lol

If you're lifting weights at all or doing resistance training you're going to be building muscle. Muscle us quite dense and heavy so you'll probably gain weight but that's not a bad thing!
