I fully understand ya; I’m also experiencing these growing pains with @StoryBakeHQ. You can’t get search result priority unless you’re monetized, and you can’t get monetized without 10k views, and you can’t get those views unless people can find your content or you get lucky.

1,000 subscribers is nearly impossible for 90% (give or take) of users, especially those of us who lack the ability to market our content to wide audiences. As I said, good content isn't what drives people anymore. It's just not.
That much is true, but I can respect them trying to change it and make content king again. But if they’re going to do this, they need to adjust the algorithm to give unmonetized channels a boost. The barrier to entry is too high, otherwise.
