Been in SF for 2 hours and it’s heartbreaking. Streets lined with people keeled over, worse than ever. Drugs everywhere. I step into one store where a shoplifter gets caught and beats up a cashier until the police come.
Heading back to the airport.

If it’s corruption that still amounts to systemic inequality, if the govt can’t or won’t sort it out when there is plenty of money to go around. Where’s it going? That’s inequality.

You can *never* have affordable housing in a city that charges $100k for a permit to build one 1 bedroom apartment. The national average to actually build (not just a permit to build) is $70k.
