A lot of people in Oz seem jaded by the 14-game format - and non-plussed that the fifth-placed team could still win the whole thing. Rethink required, maybe.

Yes, too many games and kids are back at school so it’s not summer holidays any more. I doubt the finals format will change anytime soon. They’re looking to add more teams to finals in other leagues here (AFL + NRL). Means more interest for teams and supporters late in the season

It's also a 7:40pm start on a school night. No family would keep young kids at the cricket until 11pm. Inexcusable scheduling!
