Yikes. Life is much more complicated. Multiple things can be happening at the same time. Who and how something is funded really can only serve as a clue, often misleading, but the quality of the ideas and/or the data of what matter. Making life better matters. /1

Something like 10% of the population of SF has signed for the recall. IDK, I kind of have this concern for that many people's concerns. Dismissal seems rude and very not progressive. We can wrestle about what the data says all day, but real people have real concerns here. /end

Give me a million dollars and I can get an initiative to outlaw ice cream. It won't pass though.

You can have $10 million, but you will not get 10% of the citizens of San Francisco to sign up to outlaw ice cream. The money certainly helps, but it is not the only variable here.

Seven of the eleven members of the BoS have already endorsed Boudin. Do you really think that they are such bad politicians that they would endorse someone with a dismal approval rating? You are living in a fantasyland where there are no Progressives and no Progressive machine.

I parted ways with Progressives a long time ago on many issues, especially land-use policy. But I respect their power. Progressive heroes from all over the country will come campaign for Boudin. This is a real test of whether reactionary ideas can win in San Francisco.

A number of #blacklivesmatter
leaders, including Shaun King have already lent their effort to helping Boudin. King led a phone banking session recently that had 500 volunteers.
